Since 1995, Susie's goal has been to obtain a deeper understanding of equine movement. By combining the healing arts with an academic background, Susie has achieved a unique approach to equine wellness. She received her B.S. (Cum Laude) in Exercise Science (Biomechanics & Physiology) from California State University Long Beach, with a minor in Chemistry. Her graduate work (M.S.) was completed with a 4.0 GPA at California Polytechnic University, Pomona in the field of Biology, specifically equine locomotion. Her research based thesis was completed with the assistance of Dr. Donald Hoyt, Dr. Darren Dutto, and Dr. Steven Wickler. Much effort has gone to further her understanding of equine movement, and how to improve the lives of horses through healing bodywork.
